Radisson Hotel Group has announced its debut resort and third hotel in Zambia, with the signing of Radisson Blu Resort Mosi-oa-Tunya, Livingstone, Zambia.

Slated to open by the end of 2022, the resort will comprise a contemporary 174-key main hotel, 26 luxurious villas, an all-day dining restaurant, coffee bar, swimming pool, spa and gym. To bask in the fresh African evening air in comfort, guests can gather around the outdoor boma and firepit. The resort will also cater for meetings, conferences and events thanks to multiple meeting rooms, boardrooms and a 500sqm ballroom.

Nestled on the banks of the Zambezi river in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, just 4km north west of the Victoria Falls – one of the seven natural wonders of the world and an UNESCO world heritage site – the hotel will be constructed and operated with the greatest respect to its surroundings wonders and aims to obtain the EDGE green building certification as well sign the UNESCO Sustainable Tourism Pledge.

Radisson Blu Resort Mosi-oa-Tunya places the Group firmly on track to achieving its objective of reaching 150 hotels in operation and under development in Africa by 2025.
