Yotel to debut at Paris CDG
Technology focused hotel concept Yotel, has announced its first ever in-terminal hotel in Charles de Gaulle Airport, set to open on 1 July.
The hotel will be equipped with 80 luxury cabins and will be situated in the secure transit area in Terminal 2E, home to Air France and the SkyTeam Global Alliance. Yotel’s Paris launch will form part of the opening of the new airport lounge area ‘Instant Paris’.
Yotel offers a 24-hour airline style self-check in and out service. Along with the usual high-tech accessories, Yotel’s Premium guestrooms, also feature space-saving adjustable SmartBeds with Serta gel mattresses. All guestrooms have ensuite bathrooms with monsoon rain showers and techno wall features, including mood lighting and entertainment options, with flat screen TVs that can be connected to the guests’ device of choice.
The hotel will include Yotel’s Club Lounge where guests can make use of workspaces with USB charging points or relax in the Snug TV zone; all areas of the hotel are served by super-fast WiFi connectivity.
In addition to the relaxing communal areas, the Paris hotel will feature a unique self-vending wall with ambient and chilled sections, allowing guests to purchase a variety of ready meals.
Mission Control, Yotel’s version of the hotel reception desk, is equipped with flight information screens that display individual passenger flight details simply by scanning the bar code on their boarding pass or smartphone.
