Vico Milano to open in Spring 2021

Vico Milano, a new seven-bedroom boutique guesthouse envisioned by hotelier Neri Baccheschi-Berti – whose family is behind Castello di Vicarello in Tuscany – will open its doors on Corso Genova this Spring.

Discrete and intimate, the property will comprise a curated library, sitting room and a speakeasy-style bar serving family-owned wine and curated cocktails alongside classic Italian snacks. Its design will be overseen by Neri and draws on influences that have inspired him throughout his life and travels; he has personally sourced a collection of antiques – primarily Italian but complemented by pieces from around the world, including Iran and Morocco. Eclectic artworks will also be on display to create a home from home feeling.

Located just a short walk from Duomo di Milano and the fashionable district of Via Tortona, a hotspot during fashion week, the site of the guesthouse was once a factory that produced Legnano racing bikes, before becoming the studio and showroom for the Baccheschi-Berti family’s fashion brand, Bungai. Creativity has always been part of its DNA, so it’s a fitting location for the new refuge, where bespoke experiences will look to ensure that guests depart feeling like a local and having uncovered the authentic side of the city.
