Trunk to launch third hotel in Tokyo
Five years after the launch of its first site in Shibuya, Japanese group Trunk (Hotel) has unveiled plans to open its third Tokyo property in Autumn 2023.
Located in the trendy and sophisticated neighbourhood of Tomigaya, Trunk (Hotel) Yoyogi Park will feature a relaxed Japandi aesthetic, displaying custom designs by local emerging creators. Guests will have the option to dine at the hotel restaurant or unwind at the rooftop pool and bar while enjoying panoramic views of Yoyogi Park with its ponds, forested areas and blossom trees.
The 30-room property will be situated to close to Tomigaya’s array of coffee shops, eccentric fashion stores and traditional tofu shops. Just walking distance from the heart of the Shibuya district, visitors will also be able to easily explore one of Tokyo’s most engaging areas, packed with shopping, dining and sight-seeing.
Built on a philosophy that values fostering relationships with society, Trunk (Hotel) is known for its live, play and work environment where the art-filled guestrooms meet innovative dining concepts and a signature retail store. The brand’s second property, Trunk (House) showcases a private and bespoke hospitality experience – a one-bedroom hotel providing private butler and chef service, bespoke amenities and a generous open-plan living area.
