Europe’s hotel construction pipeline accounts for nearly a quarter of all forthcoming projects worldwide. Unsurprisingly, France falls within the top three countries for hotel construction in the region.
The French hotel market is set to grow steadily, with 102 hotels totalling 17,054 rooms set to open in the near future according to data collected by Tophotelprojects. Paris is the fastest-growing city in terms of new hotels, with 31 projects and 6,058 rooms on the way – focusing particularly on the luxury sector.
According to the data service, eight of the total pipeline projects in Paris will open before the end of the year, with five already in the pre-opening phase. An additional 12 hotels are set to arrive in 2021, bringing with them 1,648 extra keys. Only two projects are lined up for 2022, although nine have been signed off for 2023 and beyond.
Featured below are just a few of the key properties on the horizon in the French capital. If you would like further information – including contact details for the developers, operators, designers and procurement teams behind each project – please visit www.tophotelprojects.com.
