For the next in our hotel construction reports compiled with data from Tophotelprojects, we’re taking a look at the Bangkok pipeline, and the best new hospitality properties on the boards and slated to launch in the city.
Currently with 49 hotels in the pipeline and a total of 12,844 guest rooms set to join the fray, Bangkok boasts one of Asia’s strongest city pipelines, and features a healthy mixture of styles, scales and sensibilities marked to join an already diverse market.
With recent years seeing an influx of new branded concepts by Aman, Six Senses and Kimpton, the city has established itself as a major draw for guests and operators alike.
With travel restrictions enforced worldwide, Bangkok has seen an unfamiliar drop in tourism to the city; and yet, despite this, the impact has not significantly disputed the pipeline of its largest market. Click through the slider below to see our pick of the projects set to drive Bangkok’s hospitality scene in the near future.
