The Welbeck Hotel begins welcoming guests in Marylebone
The Welbeck Hotel, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, has opened its doors, unveiling an interior design scheme by Studio Moren.
The hotel is located in the heart of Marylebone on Welbeck Street, known for its rich history and association with the medical profession dating back to the 1800s.
The property, with its Edwardian architecture, comprises 164 guestrooms and suites, as well as a gym, lounge spaces, meeting rooms and event spaces.
In addition to its luxury offerings, The Welbeck Hotel is committed to integrating sustainable practices into its operations. From wildflower planters supporting local wildlife to green building certifications, the hotel seeks to reduce its carbon footprint by using occupancy-based controls, the elimination of single-use plastics and a recycling programme set to help the property achieve Green Key accreditation.
The Welbeck Hotel has also announced a partnership with The Felix Project, London’s largest food re-distribution charity.
“We are thrilled to open our doors to this incredible historic property in Marylebone,” says Simon Hall, General Manager of the hotel. “The Welbeck Hotel is designed to offer our guests an elevated London experience – where they can Stay Well, Travel Well and Be Well in the heart of one of London’s most revered villages.”
