Place III Hotels has announced the opening of Marylebone hotel The BoTree, which comprises 199 rooms and a destination restaurant and bar.
With EPR Architects taking the lead on architecture and Concrete Amsterdam on interior design, the hotel has been brought to life in a way that captures the spirit of Marylebone’s ‘village’ life. Guestrooms are adorned with colourful natural fabrics and eclectic textures, with discrete sliding panels able to section the space off into bedroom, bathroom and lounge areas.
Rooms feature Jasper Conran Wedgewood tea sets, vegan leather headboards and eucalyptus Tencel bedding, all of which have been chosen for their eco-friendly credentials, while Jo Loves has been selected as The BoTree’s official bathroom amenity partner.
The hotel is home to 30 suites, which include a lounge, balcony, personal bar and integrated cocktail station. The largest of the suites, The BoTree Suite, boasts its own guest entrance and an outdoor terrace, and can be combined with the adjoining suites to create a larger private wing.
The hotel’s public spaces use bold colours and delicate lighting to create warm and cosy spaces. Upon entry, guests are welcomed into interiors adorned with flower arrangements and lush greenery, inspired by the vibrancy of Marylebone Lane. A contemporary conservatory, the lobby has been envisioned as a warm environment where guests are encouraged to dwell and mingle.
“As the first hotel within Place III Hotels, The BoTree combines uncompromising standards with a purpose-driven ethos embodying our core values of truth, love and compassion,” says Rishi Sachdev, founder of Place III Hotels. “We are extremely excited to bring this new form of luxury, Conscious Luxury, to life at The BoTree, introducing a vision for hospitality that inspires connection between people, place and planet and a strong sense of belonging for our guests, our team, and our local community.”
Tao Group Hospitality is at the helm of the hotel’s food and beverage offerings, signature Italian restaurant Lavo and The BoTree Bar. The next stage of The BoTree’s opening will see additional openings of an event space, private bar, wellness space and a rooftop with panoramic views across London.
