Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort unveils new art-inspired nine-bedroom villa
Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort has given a first look at its new accommodation offering, opening for booking in Q3 2024.
The St Lucian resort will introduce Spice of Life, a nine-bedroom villa built from the ground up by Botelho Wood Architects. The 35,000ft² villa will accommodate up to 18 guests, with 13 bathrooms, an outdoor swimming pool, a kitchen and a large living and dining room space.
The villa’s design centres around a vast art collection, which features works from artists including Yayoi Kusama, Salvador Dali, Damien Hirst, Daniel Arsham, Jeff Koons, Julian Opie, KAWS and Tom Sachs.
Interiors are inspired by the art collection and the resort’s natural surroundings, with floor to ceiling views of the Pitons Mountains and Caribbean sea. All materials used are locally sourced, like wood and stone, with custom-made furniture in muted tones that places emphasis on the artwork displayed.
The new residence at Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort will operate using a sustainable water system and integrated solar power, with additional amenities that include a private 24 hour butler service and a dedicated shuttle and driver.
