Severin’s resort opens in The Alps

Severin’s – The Alpine Retreat has opened its doors in Lech, Austria. Offering nine suites, a fine dining restaurant and Alpine inspired bar, wine cellar, swimming pool, spa, gym and four-guestroom private residence, the chalet hotel brings a new luxury destination to the range.

Clad in reclaimed Tyrolian wood with a stone facade and copper roof, the hotel blends effectively into Lech’s Alpine landscape with special focus placed on the use of traditional building materials. Meanwhile, the project’s interiors combine Alpine charm with contemporary touches to provide modern comfort in stylish surrounds. Guests can expect furnishings by Italian studio Minotti, walls adorned with modern works of art curated by Vienna’s Contemporary Art Advisors and state of the art technology throughout.

The retreat’s nine stylish suites provide spacious bedrooms and separate living areas with private terraces boasting sweeping views over the mountains. Three of the nine suites can be adapted to accommodate families but those looking for added space and privacy those can enjoy the four-bedroom private residence spanning two floors and complete with home cinema, free-standing bath tub in the master suite, private kitchen and bar, outdoor hot-tub and office.

For fine wine and dining, facilities include the restaurant, bar and wine cellar overseen by Executive Chef Stephan Kriegelstein, whose menu focuses on using seasonal produce to create innovative modern dishes with regional influences. Elsewhere, the hotel’s Alpine inspired bar offers a more sophisticated take on après ski. Additional facilities include an indoor swimming pool with current system and waterfall, sauna and steam rooms, spa treatment and beauty suite and gym.
