Seven Pines Resort set for Ibiza
Set to open in May 2018, boutique property Seven Pines Resort will nestle onto the west coast of Ibiza amongst 56,000m2 of pine forest. Featuring 186 whitewashed Ibizenco-style homes, the all-suite development will respect the island’s authentic design whilst adding contemporary touches.
Located between Cala Conta and Cala Codolar – with a backdrop of the island of Es Vedrá – the resort comprises open plan one- and two- bedroom accommodations, a collection of outward-facing Pool Suites, and four two-bedroom Cliff Suites with private gardens and pools. Furnished with neutral tones and turquoise accents, each guestroom features its own House Bar, including a cocktail-making tool, recipe book and a full selection of glass and ceramic-ware, in addition to Illy coffee machines and a series of beverages.
Dining venues at Seven Pines include The View, a European cuisine restaurant headed up by Executive Chef Bijendra Yadav and Food & Beverage Director Francois-Xavier Fiorilla. Creating gastronomy using Korean cooking techniques such as steaming, fermentation and a Robata grill, the restaurant features the Chef’s Table – set around an open kitchen with its own individual menu – allowing for close interaction with the chef. Elsewhere, Cone Club offers Mediterranean sharing plates with Arabic and Asian influences, while the Pershing Terrace has been designed by the Pershing Yacht team and serves classic cocktails, wines and liqueurs against a backdrop of oceanic vistas.
At the heart of the resort, The Pool Bar offers light cuisine and beverages, while Cambodian-inspired in-room dining can be ordered through the brand’s own app, and is served on natural, bio-degradable tableware. Larger suites can further request a private BBQ chef, bar and mixologists for events in the suite gardens.
Seven Pines also features a 1,500m2 spa, Pure7, comprised of six treatment rooms including a suite for couples, a thermal circuit with steam bath, sauna, cold mists and water beds, and beauty space with salon services. Dr Juliane Bodo PhD, a German aesthetic specialist, will head up Medical Aesthetics at Pure7 to deliver therapeutic treatments, medical aesthetic and nutritional guidance.
In addition to the expansive spa space, meditation and yoga feature amongst a plethora of activities from personal training, running trails and cross-country biking, to sea swimming and stand-up paddle boarding, while chartered yacht excursions to restaurant reservations and club bookings are also available alongside private jet arrangements.
Meanwhile, the development’s multi-functional event areas comprise conference and banquet rooms with ocean views towards Es Vedrá, as well as flexible clifftop garden spaces catering to weddings. The resort’s private Pershing yacht can also be used for holding gala dinners and private gatherings, and provides transfers from Ibiza airport – which is located a 25 minutes’ drive from the property.
