Ruby Hotels announces plans for second UK property
Ruby Hotels has unveiled plans to open its second UK property Ruby Stella in London, Clerkenwell, slated to open in 2021.
Located close to Farringdon station and a host of pubs, bars and shops, the hotel seeks to appeal to both tourists and business travellers. 154 guestrooms are split into a range of sizes, all of which will include full soundproofing, blackout curtains, high-quality linen and custom mattresses. The property will also feature a bar, communal workstation and a library.
The design will be contemporary, incorporating unique touches such as Marshall guitar amps in rooms, which guests may use with their own guitar or one borrowed from reception. The hotel will also have its own radio station and feature in-room tablets that are pre-loaded with London city guides, social media apps and unlimited calls and data.
A communal space will serve healthy, locally made breakfast without the need for a kitchen or chef; and in-room minibars and room service will be replaced with galley kitchens and vending machines.
Ruby Hotel has further openings in its pipeline across Europe with plans to also expand into Asia.
