Rocco Forte House Milan opens its doors
Rocco Forte Hotels has announced the opening of Rocco Forte House Milan.
Located in the heart of the city, the property comprises eleven apartments, each named after areas in the centre of Milan and facing onto a traditional Milanese courtyard. Interiors draw on a contemporary yet timeless Italian style, envisioned by Olga Polizzi in collaboration with Paolo Moschino and Philip Vergeylen.
The 19th century palazzo is complete with original stuccos, ceilings adorned with frescoes, and antique furniture – a nod to the city’s history. In the more contemporary upper floor apartments, large glass windows and terraces have been introduced.
“We are thrilled to open Rocco Forte House Milan introducing a new concept to the city, that combines the intimacy of a private home with the service Rocco Forte Hotels is known for,” says Charles Forte, Director of Development and New Acquisitions. “Following the great success of Rocco Forte House Rome, and in response to the market’s desire for residence-style living, the one, two and three bedroom apartments, allow guests to prioritise privacy without compromising on their experience.”
Olga Polizzi adds: “In collaboration with Philip Vergeylen and Paolo Moschino, we created a design that blends elegant Milanese style with the comfort and warmth one would expect in a home. The residences embody the true sense of Milan through the architecture and design, which is a complete mix of old and new.”
