Ritz Paris reopens at Place Vendome

The Ritz Paris has reopened after a lengthy restoration, revealing a complete redesign of 142 guestrooms and suites, the Grand jardin and Gallery space.

Mohamed Al Fayed and his family undertook a renaissance, which has never been accomplished since the opening of the hotel in 1898, involving approximately 1,000 workers and craftsmen, renovating the property from top to bottom.

142 guestrooms and suites have been completely redesigned in the spirit of the Ritz Paris alongside the latest technology. Of the 71 suites, 15 Prestige suites are named in honour of loyal friends of the hotel: Marcel Proust, Ernest Hemingway, Coco Chanel, the Duke of Windsor, Charlie Chaplin, the Prince of Wales, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Maria Callas.

Flooded with light, glorious reception rooms and the fabled Gallery runs through the Ritz Paris, while the hotel opens onto a luxuriant jardin français. Meanwhile, lovers of Haute Cuisine will rediscover the even more spacious, world-renowned Ecole Ritz Escoffier.

The Ritz Club offers guests the opportunity to bathe in an exquisite swimming pool, enjoy bespoke wellbeing and fitness programmes or indulge in unique Chanel au Ritz Paris beauty treatments.

Finally, Executive Chef Nicolas Sale orchestrates culinary experiences; while by his side is François Perret, Pastry Chef and Estelle Touzet, the first female sommelier in the history of the hotel. Colin Field, the legend of the Bar Hemingway, has also made a return, conjuring cocktails in his unique way.
