Carlton Cannes, A Regent Hotel has officially reopened after an extensive two-year renovation process.
The renovation, which included restoration of the hotel’s Belle Epoque façade and the addition of two brand new hotel wings, was led by restoration specialist and architect Richard Lavelle. The new wings include an enclosed garden for lounging, as well as an infinity pool – currently the largest in Cannes.
With 332 rooms and 37 branded residences, the hotel’s interiors have also been reimagined by French interior designer Tristan Auer.
Carlton Cannes, A Regent Hotel, is the first hotel in Europe to undergo a total renovation and reopen branded as a flagship Regent property, and its opening will mark the first time that guests in Europe will experience a Regent property under the guardianship of IHG Hotels & Resorts, which acquired Regent in 2018.
The opening of the Cannes property will shortly be followed by the reopening of Regent Hong Kong as Regent’s flagship property in Southeast Asia, following redesign by Chi Wing Lo.
