Radisson Blu hotels to open in Bristol and Cardiff

The Radisson Blu Hotel, Bristol is located on Broad Quay in the centre of the city, close to the old town and most of the city’s cultural treasures, museums, theatres and Colston Hall, a new concert hall which is due to open in September.

The new hotel is housed in a striking blue and green glass 18-storey building, the second tallest building in the city offers a choice of three room styles – Fashion, Chic and Fresh – across its 176 rooms. the guest rooms are all air-conditioned and include 60 Business Class rooms, nine disabled access rooms with adjoining twin rooms, plus five duplex suites situated on the top floor, each featuring a roof top balcony.

From the ground floor lobby and reception area, a feature staircase leads up to the hotel’s restaurant and bar, Filini. Filini also features a large newspaper table, where unaccompanied guests can join others or just dine alone whilst browsing the papers and a selection of tempting Italian cookbooks.

The hotel is home to an ESPA spa offering ten treatment rooms, as well as a sauna and steam room and a gym. The spa’s relaxation area can be found up a spiral staircase, along with an outdoor hot tub which is unique to the city.

With a prime location in the city centre, directly opposite the new St David’s 2 shopping centre and John Lewis store, the new Radisson Blu Hotel, Cardiff is a 21-storey contemporary glass and metal building offering breathtaking views over the city, Cardiff Bay and the surrounding countryside.

Again, the 215 guest rooms are designed in three styles – Fashion, Chic and Fresh and include 60 Business Class, 11 with disabled access with twin rooms adjoining and 12 Junior Suites located on the top four floors

As with the Bristol hotel, there is a Filini contemporary Italian restaurant and an ESPA spa,which offers seven treatment rooms, a sauna, steam room and a gym.

The hotel has six meeting rooms, including a large conference room accommodating over 300 people.
