Pentahotels rolls out new message with Hong Kong opening
Pentahotels has revealed a new brand message – “we don’t do normal” – as it gears up for expansion plans in Hong Kong and Russia. From the rollout of new Penta PlayerPads, which feature private gamer gadgets in selected suites, to its check in at the bar concept, the brand underlines this new message by focusing on innovation, approachability and the pushing of traditional boundaries.
Pentahotel Hong Kong, Tuen Mun, which opened its doors today, joins sister Pentahotel Hong Kong, Kowloon, and marks the first international brand to drop anchor in the up-and-coming Tuen Mun area of the New Territories.
Located in close proximity to the Tuen Mun MTR – West Rail Terminal Station, the former industrial high-rise has been renovated into a modern 298-key hotel with rustic decor that blends with local cultural references. Promising technology features and uncomplicated service for stylish, independent-minded business and leisure travellers, the property is billed as a mix of fun and functionality.
Pentahotel Hong Kong, Tuen Mun also offers ready access to seafood markets, heritage sites and Buddhist monasteries, shopping and leisure attractions and popular local eateries. Guests will be able to enjoy an alternative to Hong Kong’s urban landscape at nearby beaches, hiking and biking trails, whilst the hotel will offer airport and citywide transfer services.
As part of the refresh, the group will also roll out a new brand communications campaign, focusing on digital channels including an updated web presence, a brand video, social media activations, guerrilla marketing campaigns, fresh collateral for guests, clients and investors, and a new CRM system to strengthen its customer engagement capabilities.
