Pan Pacific Hotels Group has opened two new properties in Tokyo: Bellustar Tokyo, A Pan Pacific Hotel, and Hotel Groove Shinjuku, A ParkRoyal Hotel.

Located on the upper floors of Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, Bellustar Tokyo, A Pan Pacific Hotel comprises 97 guestrooms ranging between 41m² and 277m², with floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the city. Meanwhile, the new Hotel Groove Shinjuku, A ParkRoyal Hotel comprises 538 rooms on the 18th to 38th floors of the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, featuring an eclectic mix of art and music inspired by the vibrant entertainment scene of Shinjuku’s Kabukicho district.

As part of ParkRoyal’s signature concept of providing a “Gateway to Vibrant Locale”, the hotel has collaborated with renowned local artists Yoshiaki Kaihatsu, Takuro Tamayama and Tomoyuki Washio to create nine guestrooms depicting the ancient art history and culture of Kabukicho and Shinjuku, with unique furnishings and vibrant colours nodding to the city’s heritage and pop culture.

Over in the new Bellustar Tokyo, A Pan Pacific Hotel, designs by Norm Architects and interior designer Keiji Ashizawa come to life, including in the hotel’s five one-bedroom penthouse suites on the 45th to 47th floors. The largest Sky Villa penthouse includes a spa treatment room, kitchen and jacuzzi, while the other penthouse suites feature a living room, kitchen and bar.

When it comes to F&B across the new hotels, Bellustar Tokyo offers a French culinary experience in Bellustar, as well as Teppanyaki in Teppan Ten-yu and sushi in JIN-È, a restaurant that boasts views of Mount Fuji and Tokyo. As for Hotel Groove Shinjuku, guests are able to dine in JAM17, the hotel’s 17th-floor food and beverage space, which serves Italian cuisine in an indoor space complimented by a rooftop terrace.

Upcoming openings for the group include ParkRoyal Serviced Suites Hanoi, which will overlook West Lake, and ParkRoyal Serviced Suites Jakarta in October 2023, as well as Pan Pacific Jakarta in 2024.
