Avi Brosh’s Palisociety is expanding its presence in Los Angeles, with the brand’s latest property opening its doors on the city’s famed Sunset Boulevard. The launch marks the brand’s sixteenth hotel opening and second new hotel in 2023.

The 74-room Palihotel Hollywood spans across two expansive floors, designed with a spirited aesthetic that nods to Hollywood’s unique character. 

The hotel, a former motor lodge from 1958, has been restored and reimagined, transformed into a contemporary hideaway infused with quintessential Californian influences throughout, awash in a palette of greens, pale blues, and greys and layered with natural taupes, tans and textiles.

Guests enter the property off Sunset Boulevard into a contemporary space flooded with natural light and greenery. Inside, light wood floors intersect with pale wood millwork topped with green floral wallpaper and salmon-hued tile work, while an arched front desk welcomes guests in. An adjacent indoor bar – part of poolside dining spot Benny’s on the Blvd – serves up cocktails, wine and small bites. Behind a set of gingham drapery, a separate coffee bar area serves all-day refreshments and hot drinks.

Guestrooms range from 225 to 470ft², with marble bathrooms and Diptyque bath amenities, Nespresso coffee machines and Palisociety’s signature curated mini bars. Select rooms meanwhile include private patios and pool and/or neighbourhood views.
