Ibiza-based Pacha Group has announced plans to open its first hotel outside of Spain in June 2021.
Combining traditional Mykonian architecture with modern design touches, Destino Pacha Mykonos will comprise 34 guestrooms including six sea-view suites, all of which feature tiled floors and white-washed walls coupled with natural wood, stone and linen, as well as glass to open up vistas across the Aegean Sea.
The hotel’s restaurant, lounge and bar will be core to the experience, playing host to celebrated DJs and local talent alike, while an all-day Mediterranean venue is set to serve locally sourced fare and a wellness programme will offer massages and rooftop yoga. Pacha Group is also bringing its cabaret dining experience to the island on a permanent basis following pop-ups in London and Sardinia; curated by the brand’s Creative Director Joan Gracia, Lío Mykonos will fuse burlesque displays, circus performances and gastronomy.
“This is an important milestone in the evolution of Pacha,” says CEO Nick McCabe. “The low-key party vibe of Mykonos chimes perfectly with our birthplace and is a fitting kick-off to our international expansion.”
The opening follows the announcement of Casa Pacha Formentera, a new boutique hotel on Ibiza’s sister island of Formentera, and will be joined by several more launches from the brand in 2022 and beyond.
