Our Habitas to open fourth property in Mexico
Our Habitas has announced plans to open its fourth property in Mexico. Our Habitas Mazunte will comprise 28 rooms perched amidst the jungle’s treetops, all with views of the Pacific Ocean.
With architectural and interior design inspired by the natural colours and materials of the region, the property will blend into its surrounding environment, harmonising with the location’s cliffs, beaches and jungle.
As is typical of the brand, the hotel experience will be built around human connection and engaging guest programming. Wellness will be a key element of the resort, with guests able to visit its jungle gym and spa, which is set to include a barrel sauna, jacuzzi and cold plunge. For those seeking a more traditional healing experience, the Temazcal or “sweat lodge” will offer a Mayan ceremonial experience to guests.
The resort’s Clubhouse will serve as the main gathering space for guests, with its pool and open-air kitchen. Meanwhile, a mezcal and tea bar are set to offer the likes of healthy smoothies, teas and locally-inspired cocktails.

Mazunte will be the brand’s newest “home” in Mexico, with additional plans to expand further within the region. Other recently announced openings from the brand include Habitas Atacama, set to open in September 2023, and Habitas Santa Teresa, opening in December 2023.
