NH Collection debuts in Finland
NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa has opened its doors, marking the brand’s debut in Finland and its second launch in the Nordics.
The property combines two historical heritage buildings: the Art Nouveau-style New Student House built in 1910, and Seurahuone, Helsinki’s oldest continuously operated hotel. Now, after a careful renovation and a restoration that respects its history, the site is entering into a new era.
Nestled within storied walls, 224 guestrooms and suites – including a 160m² presidential suite – offer comfort and convenience in the heart of the city.
A cornerstone of the NH Collection experience is its culinary offer. As such, the hotel is home to the Hansa Café Bar & Brasserie, which invites guests on a gastronomic journey through the flavours of the region, and Kupoli bar, which is located in the historic dome-shaped tower and will offer 360-degree views over the city upon opening in August 2024.
The hotel’s spa leans into Finnish wellness traditions by translating age-old health treatments and rituals into modern experiences. The Finnish sauna, steam room, infra-red sauna and gym are available to all hotel guests.
