Mui Dinh Eco-Resort wins government approval

The 1,100,000m² masterplan for Mui Dinh Eco-Resort in Vietnam has received approval from the Vietnamese government. Designed by Chapman Taylor, the resort will sit on the east coast of the country and reflect key elements of the surrounding environment including sand, sea, salt and sun.

Intended as a hospitality-led, mixed-use development, the project has been inspired by the rich local history of Mui Dinh, and particularly that of the Cham tribal culture and architecture.

Six resort hotels and a boutique hotel will provide a total of 7,000 guestrooms, as well as 500 ocean-facing villas, with all residents served by a leisure offering including a theme park, a casino, a beach club and a mountain clubhouse.

Oscar Martinez, Director – South East Asia, Chapman Taylor, says: “We are delighted that the Vietnamese government has given its full support to our Masterplan and this ambitious and unique eco-development, which will transform this beautiful coastal area into a new exciting sustainable destination and give an economic boost to this region of eastern Vietnam.”
