Moss Boutique Hotel opens in Moscow
Moss Boutique Hotel has opened its doors in the historic centre of Moscow. Filled with allusions to contemporary urban Moscow, the property is a reflection of the modern city, as well as the people, atmosphere, and events that define it.
Comprising 30 guestrooms, each characterised by a contemporary minimalist design and the strict use of natural materials, the project has been created by Adwill Architects and lead architect Bela Badmazhapova, in collaboration with Natalia Belonogova of NB Studio.
Overlooking Red Square, Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, and the MSU, Moss Boutique Hotel hosts a collection of artwork by both local and international artists, curated by Oksana Bondarenko of Tretyakov State Gallery.
The art will be changed 2-3 times a year and is all available for purchase. Additional facilities within the hotel include a gym, meeting room, and a retail element stocking clothes and accessories by Italian brand Dondup.
At the hotel’s opening event, Marketing Director Ira Shapiro announced plans to turn Moss into a national brand. At the time of writing, Moss is currently developing its own perfume in collaboration with the Israeli perfumery Zielinski & Rozen, and has already released both a Moss music compilation and jewellery line.
