Mondrian Ibiza – the brand’s debut property in Spain – is entering its first complete season, following a preview in 2023.

The 154-room hotel showcases designs by Beades Architects and Cuarto Interior, nestled within the pine-clad hills of Cala Llonga. Crafted to complement the topography of the island, Mondrian Ibiza combines nature and art through its design. Large glass windows at the hotel’s entrance connect guests with their landscape, while the walls are adorned with artwork curated by London-based collective Gone Rogue, selected to capture the essence of Ibiza, such as ‘Ash’ by Corine van Voorbergen and ‘Kissing of the Sun and the Moon’ by Lauren Baker.

Guestrooms offer a serene interpretation of the surrounding landscape, using local raw materials reimagined in new forms, for instance wood, leather, linen, stone and cement. Signature pieces like intertwined natural leather webbing headboards represent old Balearic furnishings, while wooden slat cabinets are inspired by the dry docks where fishermen keep their boats and utensils by the sea.

The crown jewel of the property’s accomodation is the 62m² Mondrian Grand Suite, complete with a 80m² private terrace with day beds, a cabana and an intimate al fresco dining area.

The new Mondrian and neighbouring Hyde Ibiza offer up seven diverse F&B concepts, with new venues Niko at Mondrian Ibiza and Sonrojo set to open in 2024.
