Mason & Fifth shares details of Westbourne Park opening
London-based hospitality and lifestyle brand Mason & Fifth has shared a look inside its largest property to-date, set to open in June 2025.
Located in London’s Westbourne, the new guesthouse resides within the former headquarters of the London Taxi Drivers’ Association. The property comprises 332 furnished private studios, each featuring an en-suite bathroom with a waterfall shower, and some with kitchenettes.
The property’s architecture is the vision of Allford Hall Monaghan Morris (AHMM), while interior design brings together the creative minds of Tigg + Coll with Mason & Fifth’s in-house design team and Interior Address. A series of local partnerships with designers are set to create an elegant yet homely feel. London’s Jan Hendzel will provide bespoke chopping boards in every studio, which will also be available to purchase at the in-house store. Jay Achillies will design a collection of tables and cabinetry, featuring alongside wares from local makers Yarn Collective, Westhouse Pottery and Blast Studio, amongst others.
All guests will have access to on-site amenities, including the in-house wellness facility, The Grounding, as well as a pool, sauna and steam rooms, cold water therapy bucket showers and a fully-equipped gym.
Mason & Fifth has partnered with the team behind Crispin & Bistro Freddie to bring a new restaurant and bar concept to Westbourne Park. On the water’s edge, Canal will be open to the public and guests, serving up a menu grounded in collaboration with a trusted farmers, day-boat fishermen and producers who prioritise seasonality and sustainability. On the 10th floor meanwhile sits a panoramic guest-only lounge, with views overlooking the London skyline.
Mason & Fifth is set to introduce its first dedicated creative workspace, named Meadow. The space will be home to approximately 120 creatives and makers, providing space for the local community who can choose daily, weekly or monthly ‘Workbench’ memberships, or take a private ‘Workshop’ for a minimum of three months. Mason & Fifth has also announced affordable memberships which are set aside for local charities and community groups that may not be able to afford the standard rates.
A series of brand partners have also been announced as part of the offer, including Store Store and Planet Good Earth, with more to be announced. Mason & Fifth will also launch its own collection of homeware products, created in collaboration with local makers and longtime collaborators, including Colours of Arley, Hoodmor, Goldfinger and Kana.
Finally, a new state-of-the-art music studio, built in collaboration with Seb Glover, co-founder of 24-hour East London institution, Fold, will also launch as a new spot for record labels, artists and producers.
“We’re excited to open Westbourne Park in June 2025, the largest location from the Mason & Fifth brand, and also London’s first fully flexible accommodation of this calibre,” says Ben Prevezer, founder of Mason & Fifth. “Flexible accommodation means different things to different people, so we have taken all the elements of what we feel makes up a life well-lived, from wellness, sustainability, community and culture, to offer a perfectly blended experience for Londoners and global citizens to come together in this thriving neighbourhood. Mason & Fifth is also set to announce an all-new boutique guesthouse in London’s Belsize Park, offering an authentic North London stay.”
