Manchester welcomes first outpost of Accor’s Tribe
Accor’s Tribe is continuing its European growth trajectory with the opening of Tribe Manchester Airport, the brand’s second hotel in the UK.
Located just a short walk from the airport’s terminals, the new property features 412 guestrooms, with additional on-site amenities including an Italian Dolce Vita-inspired restaurant and a bar with seating for up to 220 guests. The hotel also offers a versatile breakfast room that can be turned into a private dining space for events.
Founded in 2017 in Australia, Tribe promises ‘more for less’, with its bold design edit catering to travellers who crave stylish and modern hotels. Tribe Manchester Airport, operated by Aimbridge Hospitality, is the brand’s 19th hotel globally and the second in the UK, following the opening of Tribe London Canary Wharf in 2022.
“Tribe is a cool and confident brand which makes it the perfect addition to a city like Manchester, which has such a vibrant and lively culture,” says Pauline Oster, Vice President of Tribe Europe and North Africa. “With more openings to come in cities like Paris, Budapest, Krakow and The Hague, Tribe is well positioned to further expand across the region.”
David Anderson, Divisional President – EMEA at Aimbridge Hospitality, also adds: “We’re thrilled to be operating this new property at what is a very exciting time for Manchester Airport with the introduction of multiple new routes and the continued evolution of a next-generation Terminal 2. With more travellers than ever set to use the airport and its facilities, we have no doubt Tribe will thrive.”
