Luštica brings The Chedi to Montenegro
Luštica Development AD has announced they will partner with luxury hotel brand The Chedi, as they continue the construction of Luštica Bay on the coast of Montenegro.
Set to become the second European property of The Chedi brand portfolio, the hotel will operate on a spectacular central position within the Luštica Bay main marina promenade, with views over the marina and the Adriatic Sea.
The arrival of the iconic The Chedi hotel brand will be the first of seven hotels to be constructed in Luštica Bay, the new town worth €1.1 billion. The development on the Adriatic coast encapsulates the new identity of luxurious living with a selection of exclusive lifestyle and vast residential offerings in this landmark location. The Chedi Lustica Bay will be the largest 5-star hotel in the Boka Bay, offering 110 rooms, two restaurants, a bar, conference and business centre, an outdoor pool, spa and fitness centre featuring indoor heated pool and gymnasium.
After General Hotel Management (GHM) established cooperation with Orascom in Andermatt, Switzerland, where they constructing a luxury year round village, the Luštica Bay project represents The Chedi’s second European hotel. The investment in construction of the hotel will amount to approx. €25 million, bringing a prime hotel offering to the Montenegrin coast.

Chairman of Orascom Development Holding (ODH), Samih Sawiris describes the agreement as “a great outcome for Luštica Bay and for Montenegro, that further confirms our strong belief in the future of high value tourism in the country. Not only will this hotel offer a luxurious experience for the future guests and visitors when it is finished, it will also provide hundreds of jobs during construction over a two year period and high quality long term hotel operations jobs for locals”.
