London’s largest purpose-built hotel tops out

The 16-storey, contemporary glass-panelled hotel is on the former site of the derelict Greater London Council (GLC) building and has been designed by BUJ Architects, and Uri Blumenthal Architects & Town Planners. Tel Aviv-based Digital Space is responsible for the interior design.

When it opens early next year on the South Bank, the £350 million hotel will feature more than 1,000 guestrooms, a luxury spa, and extensive meeting and event facilities including a 1,200m2 pillar-free ballroom.

Park Plaza Westminster Bridge will also offer six distinctive dining experiences including a sushi bar, a signature pastry counter, and a bar and lounge with views to Big Ben and Houses of Parliament.
