A new spa hideaway is coming to Lake Garda. Cape of Senses will open its doors in July 2023, offering five-star hospitality 240 metres above the lake’s shores.
The 55-suite hotel has been designed by Hugo and Alessia Demetz, the result of which is a space that combines a simplistic kind of elegance with traditional Italian flare. Guestrooms see soft colour palettes, warm lighting and contemporary furnishings coming together to complement the Mediterranean views offered by floor-to-ceiling glass windows.
Private pools, jacuzzis and free-standing bathtubs are additional features spread across guestrooms while guests will also find a range of spaces and features around the property designed to maximise wellness, including wellbeing rooms, sunbathing and lounge areas, as well as outdoor gazebos. An outdoor, heated infinity pool and jacuzzi offer 180-degree views overlooking the lake, connecting to an indoor pool.
The 2,000m² Sense Spa meanwhile will offer a holistic spa concept with an extensive range of facilities including a sauna, fitness area, treatment rooms and relaxation rooms. In between treatments, guests will be able to enjoy the spa library or spa garden, which features a yoga platform.
The hotel will house two Mediterranean restaurants – the lake-view Al Tramonto or the more traditional Osteria La Pergola – and guests will also have the option to dine in the hotel’s rooftop garden. A lounge bar and bistro area meanwhile will also provide the opportunity for light refreshments.
