Kimpton launches new experiential hotel rooms
Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has launched a range of unique, experiential hotel rooms at a number of its properties across Europe. Selected guestrooms have been converted into Stay Human Project spaces, each differing in theme and approach with the aim of connecting guests to one another, to themselves, and to the locals of the city. The project comes in response to a trend amongst travellers who look towards more meaningful experiences and cultural immersion when travelling.
All of Kimpton’s Stay Human rooms offer Stay Human ‘idea of the day’ cards, which suggest challenges and experiences that guests can do to engage in human connections throughout their stay, as well as an instant camera and guestbook. At Kimpton De Witt Amsterdam, travellers will also be united through a shared ‘pass it forward’ concept, which tasks them with watering and tending to in-room plants, leaving them thriving for the next guest.
Meanwhile at Kimpton Blythswood Square Glasgow, visitors are encouraged to indulge in random acts of kindness and report back by sharing the location of where the act took place on a large map of the city in the room, with hopes of inspiring future guests to do the same.
The Kimpton Stay Human project rooms are available to book until the end of the year.
