Kerzner International has announced the signing of SIRO Roppongi, Tokyo, the latest addition to the active lifestyle brand.
Joining recently opened SIRO One Za’abeel in Dubai and forthcoming SIRO Boka Place, set to open in Montenegro in May 2025, SIRO Roppongi will open its doors in 2029.
The launch marks a unique opportunity for Kerzner to expand the brand’s presence into Japan and Asia Pacific with a flagship project for the region.
Located in the Minato-ku ward of central Tokyo in Roppongi, the hotel will comprise 100 guestrooms alongside a Fitness Lab and Recovery Lab, all housed within a standalone building.
“SIRO is a trailblazer in the industry,” says Mattheos Georgiou, Senior Vice President of SIRO and Rare Finds. “We are the first hospitality brand to offer a truly holistic approach to sleep, fitness, recovery, nutrition and mindfulness. Our goal is to deliver a pioneering hotel experience designed for active lifestyles, allowing our guests to maintain peak performance when they travel for leisure or business. In February 2024, we welcomed our first guests to SIRO One Za’abeel in Dubai. The response from them has been phenomenal and is a springboard from which we will continue to grow and evolve this brand.”
Philippe Zuber, CEO of Kerzner International, also adds: “Japan is of significant strategic importance for Kerzner International and our brands, and we are firmly committed to our growth and presence within the country. We are proud to be working together with Takenaka Corporation expanding into Tokyo with our new SIRO hotel. With the country’s rich cultural heritage, thriving economy and strong global presence, we see incredible potential for future development across the country. Our goal is to build long-lasting connections with the Japanese market and further expand our presence, offering unparalleled hospitality and wellness experiences.”
A new hospitality concept, SIRO has been conceptualised to nurture a well-rounded balanced lifestyle, blending purposeful movement, mindful recovery and nourishing practices to empower guests to achieve equilibrium in both body and mind.
