Kerry Hotels debuts in Hong Kong

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has announced a 28 April opening date for Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong, the first Kerry Hotel in the city. Also set to be the first new-build hotel to open on the Kowloon waterfront since 1995, it will bring contemporary luxury hospitality to the shores of Victoria Harbour and mark the brand’s fourth property in the city.

Architect and interior designer Andre Fu has created the 16-storey hotel to embody his concept of relaxed luxury. Noted for his innovative approach to hospitality, Fu’s design will take full advantage of the waterfront location, incorporating extensive outdoor landscaped gardens that connect to the hotel’s public spaces.

Featuring 546 guestrooms and suites, a lobby that opens onto a outdoor garden, signature restaurant, café, bar with harbour views, Club Lounge, 17 meeting and event spaces, and a ballroom, the hotel will be home to the city’s largest decorative LED wall and a 24 hour fitness facility. The hotel’s curated art collection comprises over 1,000 pieces and includes works from contemporary Asian artists, amongst others.

Over 60% of the hotel’s guestrooms will feature panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows. Ranging from 42m² in the Deluxe category to the 294m2 Presidential Suite, views will be complemented by a full range of services including a complimentary minibar and 43” flat screen LED IPTV.

Guests staying in the Premium, Club and Suite category guestrooms will further be able to access the Club Lounge, offering private check-in and check-out, as well as complimentary buffets, suit pressing, shoe-shine services and an attentive concierge programme.

Centrally located in the Hung Hom neighbourhood, guests of Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong will be able to explore the city via ferry, train, subway, bus, taxi, limousine, or on foot thanks to strong transport links.
