Kensington Audio Visual acquires Bang & Olufsen of Chelsea
The centre will demonstrate lighting design, architectural lighting, lighting control, control systems, home automation, audiovisual systems, home cinema and security. For the first time, design professionals can source Bang and Olufsen from a specialist AV trade installer. Previously only available as a retail brand, designers can now specify the brand with the reassurance that it can be seamlessly integrated with control systems and fully supported by a specialist AV consultancy servicing professional designers.
Malcolm Stewart, CEO of Kensington AV, comments: “Practically, Bang and Olufsen is perfectly suited to large residential refurbishments. Few realise how upgradeable Bang and Olufsen is – both its hardware and software can be replaced, making their TVs superbly future-proof.”
Designers and developers have had little exposure to the Bang and Olufsen Chelsea brand from AV trade suppliers. Kensington AV’s new Experience Centre, based on Kings Road, London, will allow people the opportunity to explore the brand and all that it has to offer.
