Katara Hospitality and Accor launch Maison Delano brand with debut property in Paris
Qatar-based owner, developer and operator Katara Hospitality has partnered with Accor to relaunch its Delano brand as Maison Delano, with a debut property scheduled to open its doors in Paris in 2022.
Occupying an 18th century mansion in the city’s 8th Arrondissement, Maison Delano Paris will comprise 56 guestrooms and suites, as well as a restaurant and bar nestled in the building’s historical courtyard.
Over the course of the next year, the mansion will be renovated to encompass a new entrance, courtyard and rooms. Its F&B concept will be headed up by Michelin-starred chef Dani García, while an immersive spa experience will round out the offer and continues Delano’s legacy for superior service in a lifestyle setting.
“We are delighted to have come to this strategic partnership with Accor by adding Maison Delano to our collection of hotels,” says Andrew Humphries, Acting CEO of Katara Hospitality. “We believe this collaboration will add operational strength and build on the foundations of our successful portfolio; Katara Hospitality’s vision is to build a hand-picked selection of leading hotels in key destinations around the world. Maison Delano is the ideal opportunity to grow our footprint in this vibrant and exciting market.”
Gaurav Bhushan, CEO of Accor’s Lifestyle operations, adds: “Maison Delano Parismarks the evolution of the Delano brand, bringing a luxurious experience to the centre of the world’s most exciting cities. We couldn’t be prouder to launch this concept with our partners at Katara Hospitality.”
