IHG signs Hotel Indigo Venice – Sant’Elena

InterContinental Hotels Group has announced the signing of Hotel Indigo Venice – Sant’Elena. The third Hotel Indigo to be signed in Italy, the property will operate under a franchise agreement with H.n.H. Hotels & Resorts S.p.A. 

Due to open as a Hotel Indigo in 2019, the 77-key development has been converted from an old convent built in the 1930’s, and will be composed of two wings joined centrally by a former chapel. The hotel features interior courtyard and large windows with high ceilings, which draw inspiration from the local neighbourhood and existing architecture.

Located next to the Rio Sant’ Elena canal within close proximity to the Castello district, and a 15-minute walk from St Marco Square, Hotel Indigo Venice – Sant’Elena is nestled into an area still inhabited by locals, creating an authentic Venetian experience when exploring the local shops, restaurants and historic architecture.
