The five-star hotel which is due to open later this year will be operated by Von Essen Hotels and provide 70 individually designed luxury rooms and suites.
It will feature a fine dining restaurant, a destination bar and lounge on the mezzanine level; a luxury health centre and spa plus state-of-the-art function rooms for social and corporate events and meetings.
The hotel’s design, inspired by the Halcyon days of aviation, combines timeless elegance with modernity. The hotel lobby is a striking double height atrium with a signature sweeping staircase up to the mezzanine level. All of the 70 bedrooms, including 14 suites, are furnished in a classically modern style, each with original artwork and the finest bespoke fittings.
The £150 million scheme situated adjacent to the London Heliport contains 266 one, two and three bedroom apartments, 8,000 sq ft of commercial space and 14,500 sq ft of retail space. The hotel has been completed on schedule and within agreed budgets, and is now preparing for its handover to the hotel operator.
Bob Weston, Chairman and Chief Executive of Weston Homes, commented: “Bridges Wharf is our flagship development and the jewel in the Weston Homes crown. We are delighted that the hotel is now build complete and we look forward to when residents at Bridges Wharf will be able to take advantage of the hotel’s exclusive services. All homes offer a hotel style lifestyle usually afforded to the privileged few with every expectation of residents being answered by the services provided by the hotel. It is truly taking inner city, luxury living to the next level.”
Bridges Wharf is a stunning collection of luxury apartments and penthouses which sit within three striking glass-fronted tiered buildings Altura Tower, Orbis Square and Vincentia Quay.
All residential, commercial, leisure and hotel facilities will be housed across the three tiered buildings ranging from six to 15 storeys. The development also includes a boardwalk extension along the river, tree lined boulevards and landscaped gardens.
