Hôtel des Grands Voyageurs opens its doors
Hôtel des Grands Voyageurs has opened its doors in the Parisian quarter of Saint-Placide.
The 138-room hotel, designed by Fabrizio Casiraghi, has been created to channel the feel of the private residence of a Parisian art collector. The hotel is filled with a curated selection of art from across the globe, paying homage to the antique dealers’ square in St-Germain-des-Prés. Artwork on show includes lithographs from Gustav Klimt and Marc Chagall, bespoke mirrors by artist Osanna Visconti di Modrone, and bas-relief sculptures by François Gilles.
At the heart of the hotel sits Grands Voyageurs, a vibrant transatlantic brasserie that combines French and American influences through a seafood-focused menu. Dishes include classics such as pâté en croûte, sole meunière and Waldorf salad, while the dessert menu features twists on old favourites like apple pie served with crème crue. Guests are also able to visit Poppy, the hotel’s intimate underground bar.
Guestrooms range in size, but are all designed to embody an understated elegance and old-world charm, with in-room amenities from Diptyque provided for a quintessential Parisian experience.
Hôtel des Grands Voyageurs offers a range of additional amenities, including a gym and meeting rooms.
