Hilton Chicago Northbrook announces multi-million-dollar renovation
Hilton Chicgo Northbrook – a 249-key property located in Chicago’s historic former North Shore Hotel – has recently undergone a refit across the function spaces and guestrooms.
The new guestroom design seeks to create “a home away from home” feel by using a calming, neutral palette and introducing hints of red. Bedrooms also offer new carpets, new furniture, smart TVs and high-quality lighting. Contemporary-finish light fixtures, modern wallpaper and new carpets have also been introduced to the revamped event and meeting spaces, with the neutral palette and red tones present in rooms flowing throughout these spaces.
Phase two of the renovation, due to be completed by the Lynn Rosenberg Design team in early 2020, will cover the property’s restaurants: Allgauer and Frank’s Place. The restoration will develop a modern aesthetic while maintaining the historic roots of the former hotel’s character.
Hilton Chicago Northbrook also features 18 breakout spaces, an indoor pool, whirlpool spa, business centre, fitness centre and sauna.
Holly Allgauer-Cir, hotel General Manager, says: “We are thrilled to introduce a refreshed Hilton Chicago Northbrook to both visitors and residents of the North Shore community.”
