HBA Atlanta completes redesign of Spa at Four Seasons Atlanta
HBA Atlanta has completed the redesign of the Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, located within the heart of the city’s Midtown.
Amongst the reimagined spaces are the reception area, nine treatment rooms and a relaxation room.
Upon entry to the spa reception, a large-scale agate commissioned from artist Amy Rader anchors the feature wall and acts as a starting block unto a series of spaces, varied in texture and light.In the relaxation room, oversized loungers are separated by ivory drapery, providing privacy yet filtered luminosity from the droplight sconces at each vignette. At one end, banquette seating sits nestled within an alcove, where a sculptural wall installation flows above. Wooden flooring underpins the whole scheme; a grounding element to the light-toned FF&E.
The art collection, curated by HBA brand partner Canvas Art Consultants, further enhances the design of the spa and wellness facilities. Featuring an elite assembly of local Atlanta artists, the collection is a showcase of art and nature’s impact on human health. Honest materials, soft curves and delicate palettes combine with organic elements through a bright, biophilic lens.
