Harrison appoints new US-based CEO

Architecture, interior design and branding agency Harrison has announced a reshuffle of its leadership team. Founder Phillip Harrison will be moving into the role of Chairman, while US-based COO Keith Anderson will assume the role of CEO.

Anderson joined the company in the early 2000s as a Graduate Interior Designer, and since then has been instrumental in its growth, launching the Harrison’s Dallas office in 2013. His appointment is a natural progression for the company, which aims to continue its expansion across the globe in the coming years.

“I am humbled, but confident, to take on this role and excited to see what we can achieve,” comments Anderson. “Over the last 20 years, I have learnt a great deal from Phillip and gained experience by working with many successful businesses in the USA. I am committed to building on the great foundations laid out by my fellow directors.

“Harrison has always been a company that can create and deliver, and we’ve built a great culture and an empowered team that is committed to creativity and a full-service approach. Our collective aim is to take these learnings and continue to build the global business to push the boundaries of design within our industry.”

Harrison adds: “My belief in Keith has been delivered on many times over, reaching the position where Harrison is a well-established and respected player in the US hospitality sector, all achieved in an extraordinarily quick timescale. They do say a good CEO can effectively make themselves redundant, so it’s job done!”

The reshuffle comes as the first in a series of key changes at Harrison, as the firm continues to evolve into a full-service agency that delivers architecture, interior design and brand identity services. The brand also recently branched out into sub-sector specialisms such as travel hubs, with the team creating bespoke restaurant concepts within airports around the world.

Founded in 1989, Harrison’s portfolio has grown to include over 6,000 projects worldwide.
