Hard Rock Hotel London reveals plans

Hard Rock Hotel London has revealed further plans ahead of its opening in spring 2019, drawing on the legacy of music greats who have occupied the building in recent decades.

Located on the corner of Oxford Street and Park Lane, the hotel is situated close to chic boutiques, department stores and restaurants, as well as historic West End theatres and the green spaces of Hyde Park. Inside, architectural and interior design practice, Scott Brownrigg, pay tribute to former residents such as Jimi Hendrix, Diana Ross, Bob Dylan and Stevie Wonder, and have been tasked with completing around 1000 guestrooms and suites, together with two bars, a Hard Rock Cafe and merchandise outlet the Rock Shop.

The 370-cover Hard Rock Cafe will combine its elevated F&B offering – serving classic American dishes with a modern British twist – with live events, celebrating both local and international talent. The hotel’s Rock Royalty programme also offers its own guestrooms and suites, in addition to personal concierge and access to an exclusive lounge.

“Hard Rock is a world-class institution where contemporary style and comfort meets rock star service,” comments Oliver Kahf, General Manager of Hard Rock Hotel London. “This building has stood at the intersection of British music and fashion since the 1930s and when we open in spring 2019, it’s sure to become a go-to London hotspot once again.”
