Grecotal announces Casa Marron opening
Grecotel has announced the opening of Casa Marron, a 172-key property set on the Greek beach of Lakopetra, forming part of a business plan which includes the renovation and expansion of 5 luxury hotel complexes at a cost of EU€42 million.
Transforming the former Lakopetra Beach hotel, the project combines modern touches with classic Mediterranean style, taking inspiration from local architecture both traditional and contemporary. 172 guestrooms are joined by 92 bungalows, each with two bedrooms, a private terrace, and outdoor shower.
“We have invested in creating a special resort in one of the most enchanting places and favourite destinations throughout the Peloponnese,” says Vasilis Minadakis, Grecotel’s General Manager. “The radical renovation of the well-known Lakopetra Beach, brings together bohemian ambience and magical scenery.”
An F&B programme centred around flavours local to the region will include 13 restaurants and bars from all inclusive options to a la carte restaurant and bars on the waves at Plaza Marron and a speciality barbecue venue.
