Gessi debuts stylish new concept store in time for Milan Design Week
Described as ‘a new multifunctional space concept for experimentation and creativity’, Gessi Milano is the result of the two-year transformation of an old cinema into a showstopping underground concept store.
The Via Manzoni property was radically reinterpreted by the Gessi Style Studio, led by Luca Bresciani and Sara Ferrari. The duo, inspired by the concept of a ‘secret garden’, transformed the space using exclusively natural materials including wood, stone, metal, intertwining trees, water and vegetal walls.
The 1500 square metre luxury loft features double-height waterfalls and water pools, astonishing underground vertical gardens and high tech video walls. The space displays an upscale selection of bathroom collections in internationally-themed roomsets, all exhibiting materials as varied as wood, marble, stone, wallpaper, coating cement, resin, metal and fabric.
Not the average concept store, Gessi Milano is a multifunctional space open to the public and will be available for private hire for cultural and fashion events, business meetings, launches and promotions.
“Gessi Milano is the fulfilment of the Gessi Private Wellness philosophy,” said Gian Luca Gessi, Founder of Gessi Spa. “Its totally customised wellness products put the fun back into transforming homes, bathrooms and personal spas.”
