Fourth Zedwell opens in London
Criterion Capital has announced the opening of its fourth Zedwell hotel, located in the heart of London’s Knightsbridge.
Marking another step in the brand’s UK expansion, the opening forms part of Criterion Capital’s plan to create 8,500 rooms by 2028, including through new Zedwell locations in the City of London, York, Manchester and Edinburgh.
Finding home within the historic Scotch House, Zedwell Knightsbridge follows the success of Zedwell’s other flagship London locations – Piccadilly Circus, Tottenham Court Road and Greenwich. The property features the brand’s sleep-centric ‘cocoon’ guestrooms, complete with soundproofed walls, purified air, body-cushioning mattresses and ambient lighting.
The opening reflects Criterion Capital’s broader vision for its Knightsbridge Green Estate, which includes significant investment in enhancing the streetscape and commercial units for the benefit of visitors, businesses and local residents.
Halima Aziz, Head of Hotels at Criterion Hospitality, comments: “The opening of Zedwell Knightsbridge underscores our dedication to delivering exceptional, sustainable hotels across the UK. By revitalising Scotch House, we’re preserving a heritage asset and creating long-term value, while positioning Zedwell for scalable growth and redefining urban hospitality in one of London’s most exciting districts.”
