Four Seasons unveils Surfside

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has announced the Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club, Florida, set to open in early 2017.

Situated on 900 feet of white sand beach, the property will be located near the Bal Harbour shopping complex and the nightlife of South Beach and Miami. Set amid nine acres of tropical gardens and shaded by palms, this latest Four Seasons property will feature 77 guestrooms, including five unique cabana-style accommodations. Architect Richard Meier and interior designed Joseph Dirand will oversee the property’s restoration.

General Manager Reed Kandalaft comments: “The Surf Club is rich with fascinating stories, and now, we are re-imagining Miami’s nostalgic past with the beach lifestyle for today’s sophisticated traveller. Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club promises memorable holidays, preserving and respecting the legacy of the club while adding new elements and our legendary Four Seasons service that will make the experience of staying here absolutely unparalleled.”

Once host to poolside fashion shows, debutante galas and black-tie boxing nights, the modern Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club will welcome couples and families in a property once favoured by high-profile guests including Frank Sinatra and Winston Churchill.
