Four Seasons unveils Desroches resort
Desroches Island Developments Limited and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts have announced that Four Seasons will manage the sole resort on the tropical island of Desroches in the Seychelles.
After undergoing extensive renovations, the property will reopen in 2017 as Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island. Located on the outer edge of the Indian Ocean’s archipelago, and a 35-minute flight from the capital Mahé, Desroches boasts 14 kilometres of white-sand beaches and vibrant reefs.
Featuring 40 beach suites and 11 private residence villas, the resort will offer private plunge pools, tropical gardens and outdoor living spaces all with direct access to the beachfront and ocean. Also present will be a six-suite spa, two restaurants, a lounge bar and an array of dining options.
“Four Seasons Resort Seychelles in Mahé is one of the most desirable resorts in our global portfolio, and we look forward to deepening our commitment to this important destination with the addition of a second property,” comments J. Allen Smith, President and CEO, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. “Together with Desroches Island Developments Limited we are creating something unique and special on Desroches Island, a true island hideaway that delivers the highest standards of quality and the most genuine and personal service – the markers of a Four Seasons stay the world over.”
