Four Points by Sheraton makes Poland debut
Marriott International has announced the opening of Four Points by Sheraton, Warsaw Mokotow. The hotel marks the brand’s entry to Poland, and will be operated as part of a franchise agreement with Hotel Management Group. The 190-key property is situated in the heart of Warsaw’s business district, in close proximity to the international airport and city centre.
The interior design seeks to channel stylish comfort, and looks towards renowned Polish artists of the 50’s and 60’s for inspiration. The region’s history is reflected in the displayed black and white photographs of the local area, alongside historical touches such as ceramics by Lubomir Tomaszewski, glass by Zbigniew Horbowy and furnishings by Roman Modzelewski and Jozef Chierowski. These vintage design elements are juxtaposed with various features of modern technology throughout the hotel such as Four Points by Sheraton Four Comfort beds, key-less locks and in-room entertainment options. The hotel’s other facilities include a fitness centre and five meeting rooms.
John Licence, Vice President of Premium and Select brands at Marriott International Europe, says: “We are delighted to introduce the Four Points brand to Poland in the heart of Warsaw’s business district. This opening marks a strong addition to our European portfolio and reflects the popularity of the brand across the continent.”
Four Points is one of the fastest-growing brands under the Marriott International portfolio, with over 250 hotels in more than 40 countries and territories. Marriott has a total of 16 hotels in Poland including AC hotel by Marriott Wroclaw, The Westin Warsaw and the recently opened Moxy Warsaw Praga.
