Forestis has unveiled its new Odles Lodge, a chalet on the southern slope of the Plose mountain in South Tyrol.
Situated just a few kilometres above the main Forestis site, Odles comprises four distinct lodges, each designed by Armin Sader of Assaggio Architects. Built using local spruce and Swiss stone pine, the property has been designed to create an atmosphere of calm, framing panoramic views of the Dolomites.
Each lodge is stocked with traditional South Tyrolean specialities like homemade jams, juices, meat and dairy products from local farms, while a fresh mountain breakfast is delivered everyday to the lodges’ inhabitants. Also available exclusively to guests, the new spa at Odles Lodge includes a communal swimming pool, steam and sauna, while guests can also take advantage of spa facilities and treatments at the Forestis spa.
Like at Forestis, sustainability is at the core of Odles Lodge’s ethos, with the property powered by 100% renewable energy, generated by the lodge’s own plant and wood heating system.
“We are thrilled to welcome guests to Odles Lodge and share the unparalleled beauty of the Dolomites with them,” says Teresa Unterthiner, owner of Forestis & Oodles Lodge. “With a more remote location and higher privacy, we are excited for guests to get even closer to nature.”
