Vignette Collection France

First Vignette Collection to open in France

IHG Hotels & Resorts has unveiled plans to debut its Vignette Collection in France on the Côte d’Azur.

Following an agreement with Global Hotels & Resorts (GHR), the property – comprising transformed existing hotels Tiara Miramar and Tiara Yaktsa – will open its doors in 2026.

Set against the backdrop of the Massif de l’Esterel, France’s first Vignette Collection will be home to a number of amenities, including several swimming pools, a gym, spa and a stylish bar.

The hotel underscores the momentum behind IHG’s newest luxury and lifestyle collection brand as it grows at pace. In just three years, the brand has surpassed the halfway point in its decade-long target to attract 100 hotels.

“The signing of the first Vignette Collection in France aligns perfectly with our luxury and lifestyle growth plans across Europe, as we focus on accelerating the expansion of new brands across priority markets, including France, whilst establishing one-of-a-kind properties in sought-after urban and resort locations,” says Willemijn Geels, Vice President, Development, Europe, IHG Hotels & Resorts.

“I’m excited to be working alongside our long-standing partners at Global Hotels & Resorts (GHR) to bring the first Vignette Collection to this market, and to strengthen our luxury and lifestyle offering along the Côte d’Azur,” he continues. “Together with GHR, we have seen great success with our existing properties – InterContinental Lisbon and Crowne Plaza Porto – and are now delighted to bring forward a unique hotel in a prestigious and internationally recognised location. With IHG’s trusted reputation and leading loyalty offer, we are confident that the hotel will cater to the growing demand for authentic, curated hospitality experiences.”

Sheikh Mohammed Youssef El Khereiji, founder of Global Hotels & Resorts, adds: “We are proud to partner once again with IHG Hotels & Resorts to bring a Vignette Collection property to France, marking an exciting new chapter for our Tiara Miramar and Tiara Yaktsa hotels. The French Riviera, with its timeless appeal and global recognition as a luxury destination, was the perfect choice for this venture. We look forward to offering Luxury & Lifestyle travellers a truly unique and unforgettable experience when the property opens in 2026.”
